Read for safety instructions and worry less! 🙂

Material Safety

This product is made from non-porous silicone. Silicone is considered the “gold standard” for body-safe materials because:

  • Hypoallergenic: It does not contain latex or phthalates, which are known skin irritants.

  • Non-Porous: Unlike jelly or PVC materials, silicone does not have microscopic pores that can trap bacteria, making it much easier to keep hygienic.

  • Durability: It is resistant to heat and body fluids, ensuring the material won’t degrade quickly with proper care.

Usage Safety

To ensure a safe experience, follow these primary guidelines:

  1. Use Water-Based Lubricant ONLY: Silicone-based lubricants will chemically react with the silicone plug, causing it to “melt,” become tacky, and eventually ruin the device. Water-based lubes are safe for the material and easy to clean.

  2. Inflate Gradually: Pump slowly and listen to your body. Stop immediately if you feel sharp pain or excessive pressure.

  3. The Flanged Base: Ensure the flared base remains outside the body at all times. This prevents the toy from becoming “lost” internally.

  4. Air Release: Before removal, always turn the air valve to fully deflate the plug. Attempting to remove the plug while it is still inflated can cause tissue damage or tearing.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Since this device has internal components (the air chamber and tube), cleaning requires a specific approach:

  • Initial Wash: Clean the plug head with warm water and a mild, unscented soap or a dedicated anti-bacterial toy cleaner.

  • Avoid Submerging the Pump: Do not submerge the hand bulb or the air valve in water. If water gets inside the pump mechanism or the tube, it can lead to mold growth. Clean the tube and bulb with a damp cloth and disinfectant.

  • Drying: Pat the plug dry with a lint-free towel and allow it to air-dry completely before storage.

  • Storage: Store silicone toys separately or in a cloth bag. If left touching other toys (especially those made of TPE or jelly), they can chemically react and damage each other.
